I believe creativity is at the heart of all our futures and in the well-being of the individual. For me, artistic creativity is just one way we can help children of all ages discover their expressive voice and unleash their strengths and potential. Having spent many years in High School art, I now work in Primary Education. I am committed to helping teachers understand what creativity and art making with young children are all about and what this means for classroom practice.I am also involved with the Community Art Group, Felton, Northumberland

Splash Primary Art
I love writing materials for teachers and other professionals to use. Over the years this has built up into a huge resource based on being creative and expressive. This is a comprehensive set of 45 topic-based units, each with lots of activities, ideas and photographs of children's art work for use with Years 1 to 6. Each unit is fully planned, lasts up to a term and shows progression and continuity in both the unit and across all year groups. Teachers love it, and the work it produces is fabulous. Separately, there is a range of ideas for creative and expressive work with the Foundation Years. Follow this link to SPLASH Primary Art.
