I love writing materials for teachers and other professionals to use. Over the years this has built up into a collection of over 60 topics, each with a rich and structured suite of activities that encourage independent exploration and progression. They cover Early Years to Key Stage 2. They are used widely and very successfully by many schools in the north east.

Recently I have been preparing these materials for a full-colour, omnibus edition under the working title Primary Art. The books are packed full with pictures of real artwork from real students, showcasing what can be achieved using the unitary schemes of work. Each activity is assigned learning objectives, required resources are listed and success criteria outlines. Teachers can follow the structured units to the letter, or simply pick and choose and use them as inspiration.
